Step 6. Set up the sessions of the learning situation
In this step you'll need to define the time structure of the learning situation. To do so, select:
The total number of sessions you want to run.
The duration of each session, adjusting it to your teaching schedule and the group's characteristics.
Good planning will let you distribute the activities properly, ensure the objectives are met and support the gradual development of the challenge set.
Generating the learning situation
Once all the previous steps are complete, the process will be finished.
And that's it! In just a few seconds, your learning situation will be generated automatically with all the information entered.
Editing, tracking and organisation
The generated learning situation is fully editable, so you can:
Modify any section whenever you need.
Schedule each session, assigning specific dates within the school calendar.
Carry out tracking of students' progress and their competence-based assessment.
Downloading the document
In addition, you'll have the option to download the learning situation as a PDF, which will let you print it, share it with other teachers or archive it for later use.
Contents of the generated document
The final document will include all the necessary curricular elements for the correct development of the generated learning situation.
Each section will be organised clearly and in a structured way, making it easier to understand, apply in the classroom and follow pedagogically.
Specifically, the document will contain:
Rationale: an explanation of the pedagogical purpose of the learning situation, its relevance and its alignment with the current curriculum.
Context: a description of the educational environment, the students' level and the characteristics of the group the proposal is aimed at.
Challenge: the statement of the challenge or problem that will guide the teaching-learning process and give coherence to all the activities.
Specific competences: a list of the competences specific to the subject(s) that will be worked on throughout the learning situation.
Operational descriptors: the practical specification of the key competences, indicating how they are shown in students' performance.
Assessment criteria: indicators that will allow you to assess the level of competence acquisition and students' progress.
Learning objectives: the expected outcomes that students should reach by the end of the learning situation.
Knowledge: the content, knowledge, skills and attitudes that will be covered during the sessions.
Teaching sequence: a detailed organisation of the sessions, activities and resources needed to carry out the challenge.
Learning vectors: cross-cutting elements that enrich the proposal, such as inclusion, equality, sustainability or digital competence.
