A handful of poems

Language and literature - Primary

“What happens when language, art and technology come together to communicate emotions? You can turn a simple poetry activity into an interactive experience with real meaning for students. The result has been much more motivating, competence-based and exciting learning.”

Olga Armengol, Sant Nicolau

✍️ Creative writing and poetry

💻 Programming and digital creation

🎨 Multimodal artistic expression

🤝 Cooperative work with roles

Una mà de poemes invites students to become artists and storytellers with a genuine purpose: to move and surprise younger children through an interactive poetic creation. Through a constructivist, project-based approach, students not only write and revise their own poems but take them to another level by combining them with drawing, voice and Scratch programming. The proposal stands out for integrating written expression, artistic creativity and digital competence in a progressive sequence that runs from exploring examples to producing a complete interactive experience. In addition, cooperative work with defined roles, project planning and solving technical challenges turn the process into deep, meaningful and highly motivating learning, where emotion, empathy and communication take centre stage.
